Loan Originator

The Area: Sales

The loan origination group provides sales and support to clients and real estate professionals in need of residential mortgage financing.  We pride ourselves in providing clients with superior service while maintaining the highest standard of professional integrity in the ever changing residential lending landscape. This means that loan originators need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, ethical, innovative – and able to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional, results oriented environment while demonstrating program knowledge, effective communication and can-do attitude.

The Role: Loan Originator

As a Loan Originator you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans using a consultative approach to best meet our clients’ needs.  The ultimate responsibility for the client will be yours from submission to closing.  This will require a closing mentality, strong knowledge base, superb communication skills, project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Originate complete mortgage loan applications
• Analyze applications and qualify borrowers based on loan programs
• Act as consultant for borrowers financial situation as it relates to obtaining residential financing
• Collaborate with other real estate professionals in title, escrow, appraisal functions

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years experience as a commissioned loan originator
• Washington MLO license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with the following software programs:  MS Word, Excel, Outlook.   Experience with the following software programs is preferred:  Calyx POINT and/or Encompass
• Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, USDA and VA guidelines and processes.
• Bi-lingual a plus
• MLO license in CA, OR or FL
